ZuraLens ("the App") is operated by Waliyy Holdings LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use ZuraLens. By using the App, you agree to the terms of this policy.
ZuraLens does not require you to create an account, register, or provide any personal identification to use its core features. We do not collect your name, email address, physical address, or phone number.
Your scan history and dietary preferences (such as halal, vegan, gluten-free, and allergen settings) are stored locally on your device only.
If you optionally link an account (via Apple or Google Sign-In), your health profile selections are synced to our servers to enable multi-device access. No other personal data is synced.
If you delete the App, locally stored data is permanently removed. You can clear your scan history from the Profile screen, or use "Delete My Data" in Profile > App Settings to remove your account and all server-side data.
If you choose to contribute product information or corrections through the "contribute" feature, these submissions are anonymous. We collect only the product data provided (such as barcode numbers, product name, brand, and ingredients) to improve our database for all users. No name, account, or device identifier is attached to contributions.
When you scan a barcode, ZuraLens may query third-party product databases to retrieve product information. These requests include the barcode number only. No personally identifiable information is attached to these queries.
Premium features are managed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. All financial transactions and payment information are handled exclusively by these platforms. We do not have access to your credit card or billing details. We may receive a basic confirmation that a subscription is active (subscription status only, no payment details).
We use anonymous analytics to understand App performance and usage patterns. This data is aggregated and does not identify individual users. No personally identifiable information is included.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your data to third parties. Because we do not collect personal information, we have no personal data to sell. There is no targeted advertising in the app.
We employ industry-standard security measures, including HTTPS and TLS encryption, to protect data transmitted between the App and our servers. Your on-device data is protected by your device's own security model.
